The East Coast Symposium is hosting a golf tournament sponsored by Dreamscape Marketing on November 2, the day before the full conference begins.
This is the only official golf outing at the East Coast Symposium. Any other golf-related activities are not coordinated with, or endorsed by, or part of, the conference.
THE COURSE
TPC Sawgrass (Dye’s Valley Course)

Designed by Pete Dye, Bobby Weed and player consultant Jerry Pate (1982 PLAYERS Champion), Dye’s Valley at TPC Sawgrass is adjacent to THE PLAYERS Stadium Course. Opened in 1987, the course has played host to several professional Korn Ferry Tour events and is consistently ranked as one of the top courses in Florida.
Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the course, which is about 1.5 miles from the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa (the conference venue).
QUALIFIED PARTICIPANTS
The tournament is limited to 40 golfers. If you qualify, a prompt will appear during your conference registration process, or you will receive an invitation via e-mail from an East Coast Symposium or Dreamscape representative.
The East Coast Symposium reserves the right to approve or deny participation of any conference attendee at any time, and all conference fees must be paid in order to participate. Golfers must be registered to attend the East Coast Symposium.
A wait list will be created when the tournament is full. Those on the wait list will be notified if a spot becomes available.
TEE TIMES AND FOURSOMES
Tee times begin at 1:30 pm with a shotgun start on November 2. Please arrive at least 20 minutes in advance.
To promote networking, the conference and Dreamscape will assign foursomes. We encourage you to bring your business cards. Please note we cannot accommodate individual pairing requests.
AWARDS
On November 3 participants will be emailed the list of winners, who can pick up their prizes at conference registration, Champion’s Desk, at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa (the conference venue) with a valid government-issued ID. Awards will be given for:
- Longest Putt ($100 AMEX gift card)
- Longest Drive in Fairway ($100 AMEX gift card)
- Shortest Drive ($100 AMEX gift card)
- Closest to Pin ($100 AMEX gift card)
- The two Lowest Scoring Foursomes ($25 AMEX gift card per player)
Awards must be claimed during the conference.
FEES
Participation is complimentary to qualified attendees.
The course provides a caddie experience for golfers. Forecaddies will help with course navigation as well as provide hole descriptions and target lines, locate golf balls, provide yardage, keep clubs and golf balls clean during the round, attend the flagstick, help read greens, and provide local knowledge of the course and the area. The course recommends a gratuity of $40 per person and up, depending on the quality of service. Golfers are responsible for providing gratuities.
TaylorMade, Callaway and Titleist clubs are available for rental for $85 per set and includes 6 golf balls. You may select the option to rent clubs during the conference registration process. Rented clubs will be preset on carts.
Shoe rental is unavailable.
Food and beverages are available for purchase at the course. The course does not permit food and beverage not purchased at the course.

ATTIRE
Per course policies:
- Appropriate attire is required and must be observed at all times.
- Denim, bathing attire, T-shirts, gym shorts, tank tops, tube tops, halter tops, mesh shirts, cut-off shorts, short shorts, tennis outfits, and other dress of a similar nature are not permitted.
- Shorts may be worn but must be of Bermuda length.
- Men must wear collared shirts.
- Mock turtle necks are acceptable, but must have a collar length of at least 1 1/2 inches.
- Women are allowed to wear collarless attire.
- Metal spiked golf shoes are not permitted.
We recommend you bring a head covering, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
INCLEMENT WEATHER/CANCELLATION
Should the course cancel play, the conference will e-mail participants with a location for a networking opportunity at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa (the conference venue) during the play time and where participants can pick up their complimentary golf swag. Club rental fees will be refunded.
COMMUNICATIONS
Look for communications from the East Coast Symposium in October and more details on the golf tournament if you signed up to participate. You will receive messages from conference representatives with an @hmpglobal.com e-mail address.
